Tresa Tudrick is an American 2-time Emmy award-winning former anchor/reporter known for having worked as a sports anchor and reporter at 3TV/CBS5. She joined the sports team in July 2019. It is not known when she left the station, and why.

Tresa Tudrick Career

Tresa was the first female sports reporter to join Arizona’s Family since the two stations combined. Previous to joining 3TV/CBS5, Tresa had been a sports reporter for two and a half years at KPNX-TV NBC in Phoenix. She joined 12 News after her final semester of graduation at Northern Arizona University.

Tresa is a double alumnus from the University of Northern Arizona. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in journalism at the age of 20. She took a six-month hiatus and stayed in Europe before moving back and graduating with an M.A. in Communication with honors at 23.

Tresa covers all sports related to the Valley, from the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Coyotes, and Arizona State Sun Devils, to high schools all around the country. Her favorite spot to be on Friday night is high school football with the Varsity Region. Tresa is anchoring sports on Saturdays, and while she’s not anchoring, she’s reporting on the floor.

In her professional career, Tresa interviewed some of the most famous sports figures in Phoenix, from Larry Fitzgerald to Devin Booker, and even rode Mario Andretti in an Indy car. Arizona State Soccer Coach Herm Edwards wished Tresa good luck on the air before her departure to the Arizona Home.
