Vincent Hill has spent most of his adult life working for the people, whether it’s as a police officer in Nashville or as a member of the US Army. When asked where he’s from, he usually says, “from a little of nowhere and a lot of here and there.” As a result, he’s had the opportunity to meet people from various walks of life. Vincent studied Criminal Justice at a number of universities across the country, despite the fact that he was constantly on the move due to his military service. After leaving the Army in 2002, Vincent joined the Nashville Police Department, where he spent slightly over four years serving the city. He worked as a patrol officer, a Flex officer, and a CSU officer.

After former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair was slain in 2009, Vincent spoke to local Nashville TV stations regarding the police narrative’s contradictions. Vincent’s first book, Playbook to a Murder, and the follow-up book, Incomplete Pass, led to several appearances on various media channels, including Dateline NBC. After Dateline, Vincent wrote his first book, Playbook to a Murder, and the follow-up book, Incomplete Pass. Vincent used his law enforcement background to make media appearances as a law enforcement analyst. Vincent understood he had a passion for journalism and storytelling, and he wanted it to be more than just a hobby.

Vincent enrolled in an Atlanta broadcasting school to master the principles of journalism while continuing to appear on local and national networks such as HLN, CNN, Fox News, and ID Discovery, to name a few. Vincent most recently soloes anchored on the Law and Crime Network in New York and was a regular contributor on Scripps’ Atlanta-based Court TV. Vincent is thrilled to be joining the KJRH team.
