Vivian Gonzalez is an American Meteorologist for 7News WSVN. She has been working for the station since joining in November 2005.

Gonzalez attended Monsignor Edward Speed High School. Since graduating from high school, she graduated from Florida International University with a major in Geography and a minor in Mathematics and Spanish. After graduation in 2005, Vivian enrolled in the Distance Learning Broadcast Meteorology Program of the State University of Mississippi. She earned her Certificate in Meteorology and later graduated with a Bachelor’s in Meteorology degree.

Gonzalez serves as a weekday morning meteorologist from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM. She also holds the American Meteorological Seal of Approval. Gonzalez joined 7News WSVN serving as a Producer during the most active hurricane season on record. She was later promoted in 2007 and started serving as a weather anchor for “Today In Florida” Saturday Edition. In addition to this, she is also an active member of the American Meteorological Society and The National Weather Association.

Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also spends her free time teaching the children of her community about math and science. Furthermore, she also participates in Community Partnership for the Homeless and Habitat for Humanity as well as La Liga Contra El Cancer. She also enjoys kickboxing, cooking, and watching movies.
