Craig Stevens is an American Emmy Award-winning anchor and reporter working for WSVN. He has been working for the station since July 1992.

Stevens serves as the 7NEWS co-anchor at 5, 6, 10, and 11 pm weeknights with Belkys Nerey. Since he started his journalism career, he has managed to enclose quite a number of events and stories that hit the headlines. Some of the stories he has managed to enclose include the bombing of Oklahoma City and several hurricanes. He has also managed to host several straight hours of coverage of the fatal mass shooting in 2018 and Castro’s death.
Furthermore, he also enclosed the return of Jean-Bertrand Aristide to Haiti, the fatal shooting down of two Brothers to the Rescue planes, the crash of “Valujet” flight 592, and the attacks of September 11. He also enclosed the Elian Gonzalez saga, the 2016 state visit of President Obama to Havana, the start of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the death of JFK, Jr., among others. In addition to that, he alongside also Belkys was the host of “our presidential election night broadcast in November 2020.
Stevens began his journalism career in 1987 at NBC NEWS in Washington in the mailroom. Stevens is also an officer with the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Suncoast Division. He also hosts and organizes several charity and organization events. Stevens also spent several years hosting the annual AIDS Walk in Miami. He is also very active when it comes to helping the people of his community hence gives out donations and hosts donation campaigns every year.
Stevens has also managed to win several awards including the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ seven Suncoast area Emmy Awards. He was also tagged by the University of Miami, as “Communicator of the Year” in 2009. Miami Beach gave Stevens a key to the city in 2006 as a way of honoring his humanitarian work. He went to American University in Washington, D.C. where he graduated in 1990.
