Zachary Tolman is an American meteorologist working for WVVA as a morning meteorologist since he was promoted in June 2026. He joined the station in January 2026 as a multimedia journalist and meteorologist.

Tolman joined Mitchell Community College in August 2019 after finishing his high school education. In May 2022, he graduated with an Associate of Arts degree before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in July of that year. In December 2025, he graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences and Atmospheric Science.
While in college, Tolman was involved with the University Business Services, the Sports Analytics Club, the National Weather Association, the American Meteorological Society, the Niner Times, the Student Niner Media, and the University Disability Services. He also interned at FOX Carolina News. He served as the president of his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Order.
