Jeff Zeleny is an American journalist working for CNN as the chief national affairs correspondent since he was promoted in January 2021. He joined the network in March 2015 and was named Senior White House Correspondent in January 2017. Previously, he worked as the senior Washington correspondent for ABC News.

He also broadcast the first two years of the Obama administration as a White House correspondent. In April 2009, he attracted media attention for asking President Obama how he felt during his first days in office at his 100-day press conference.
