Adam Racusin is an American Reporter working with ABC10 News/KGTV in San Diego where he serves the station as an Investigative Reporter. He kick-started his career working with KULR 8 News in Billings, Mont., and made stops in Santa Maria, California, and Omaha, Nebraska.

Racusin works with KGTV News where he serves the station as an Investigative Reporter. Being the son of two bankers, Adam’s parents are still baffled about how he ended up as a journalist. After spreading his wings and spending more than half a decade bouncing around the Midwest, the Los Angeles native is happy to be back in Southern California.
He joined the station from KEYE-TV in Austin, Texas, where he was an investigative and political reporter. While in Texas, he was awarded the 2015 regional Edward R. Murrow Award for hard news reporting for a story on veterans’ health benefits. He has also won an Emmy award for best general assignment/spot-news reporting.
When in Texas, he also traveled the state reporting on Texas’ death row, the filibuster showdown over access to women’s health, the deadly crash at the South by Southwest festival, and the indictments of former Governor Rick Perry and Attorney General Ken Paxton. While working in San Diego, he set his sights on helping consumers.
His reports have led to getting people their money back, sending bad actors behind bars, and encouraging lawmakers to promise new legislation. Since she joined the 10News team, his work has been honored by the San Diego Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, the National Academy of Television Arts and Science Pacific Southwest Chapter, and the San Diego Club.
He is a proud graduate of Cal State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism where he met his wife. Away from work, he is not searching for the next story and can be found with his family at the beach, or teaching his son how to scroll through work email.
