Adam Solarczyk is an American journalist who serves as the Weekend Evening Meteorologist for WANE 15. He joined the station in November 2017.

His fascination with weather began while he was a child in Memphis, Tennessee, on the boundaries of a tornado alley. His attention was piqued by the frequent severe weather, and after relocating just outside of Detroit, MI, his passion grew even deeper after multiple snowstorms.
Adam earned his bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Central Michigan University. Adam was actively involved with the live student-run news program News Central 34 throughout his time at CMU, where he served as a meteorologist for two years.
He spent two years as the Morning and Noon Meteorologist at KLST-TV in San Angelo, Texas, before making his way to Fort Wayne. Adam experienced a wide range of weather in San Angelo, from blistering heat to violent storms and even snow. He is a passionate sports lover who enjoys playing golf and tennis, among other sports, when he isn’t checking the weather.
