Alex Rozier Biography
Alex Rozier is an American three-time Emmy award-winning reporter who is currently working at WFAA in Dallas, Texas. He joined the WFAA team in 2019 as a reporter.

For his high school education, he attended and graduated from Virginia High School. while he attended Virginia High School, he was involved with the student council, Key Club, National Honor Society, the student newspaper, and the choir. During his senior year of high school, Rozier was chosen to represent Minnesota at the American Legion Boys Nation event, where he got to see President George W. Bush.
Later on, he joined the Missouri School of Journalism. While he was there he also got an opportunity to work at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri, where he served as a reporter and later became an anchor. In addition, he was among the five winners of the Pulitzer Center YouTube Project in 2010. In 2011, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in radio-television journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Missouri.

Virginia in Minnesota’s St. Louis County is his native home and during his fifth birthday his mother asked him to request what he wanted and he wished to meet KMSP-TV Robyne Robinson, who is a legendary news anchor in Minneapolis. His parents made it happen and he met Robyne in Hudson, Wisconsin.
After he graduated from Missouri School of Journalism, he was able to secure a job at the NBC affiliate in Spokane, Washington where he served as a weekend anchor. Later on, he also worked at the NBC affiliate in Seattle for a period of five years. In addition, he relocated to Dallas in April 2019.
Over the years, he has won three National Edward R. Murrow awards and three Emmy awards for his outstanding work. During his free time, he enjoys being outside in the pool, checking out good restaurants and bars in Dallas, and traveling.
