Alex Wallace is an American meteorologist working for The Weather Channel. He has been working for the station since May 2006.

Wallace attained his bachelor’s degree in broadcast news along with a certificate in new media studies from the University of Georgia. Additionally, he earned a master’s degree in geosciences with an emphasis in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University.

Wallace is a meteorologist who prepares and delivers weather forecasts in the studio as well as in the field. He has managed to enclose many extreme weather-related topics and occasions. Wallace also holds the National Weather Association’s Seal of Approval. He has a great opportunity to intern at The Weather Channel while in graduate school. It was during his internship program that he learned a lot concerning all that has to do with the weather. He learned from some of the best meteorologists in the states and soon after was hired for the first time by The News Channel.
Wallace won the John E. Drewry Award for Young Alumni Achievement from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication in 2012. His love and passion for the weather began when he was still a young boy and knew for sure that he would one day want to be a meteorologist.“What other career would allow me to talk about and forecast the weather? A real dream come true,” he says.
He is also a big Sports fan especially Georgia Football, he roots for his Bulldogs every Saturday in the Fall. Music is another thing he loves and has a passion for film. He enjoys spending his time with his wife whenever he is not working.
