Alex Witt is an American television news host and anchor working at MSNBC serving as the host of the television news program Alex Witt Reports. Witt joined the network in January 1999.

Witt serves as the host of the e-television news program Alex Witt Reports which was later rebranded as MSNBC Reports from 12 pm to 2 pm on MSNBC. Prior to this role, she hosted MSNBC Live and Morning Joe First Look. She started her journalism career at KCBA in Salinas, California where she served as a reporter and multi-media journalist.
During her time at KCBA, she served as a reporter from 1990 to 1992. From 1996 to 1998, she worked for WNYW-TV where she served as a reporter and anchor. She, later on, left the station and worked for other stations including KNBC-TV, KABC-TV, and KCBS-TV. In 1999, she joined MSNBC where she started off by serving as a reporter.
Witt is passionate about women’s justice, and gun powder, and welcomes these meetings on her showcases, she has heard a man through all these issues After graduating from the Universidad de Southern California, she was an addicted enthusiast in sports following football, college, and important lights.
