Alexa Green is an American reporter working as the Morning reporter for FOX59 & CBS 4 in Indianapolis. She joined the station in June 2017 and is thrilled to be in the Hoosier state covering the stories that matter to you.
Green is a Jersey native who is a proud graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications. Prior to moving to Indy, she was a reporter for Spectrum News in Binghamton & Syracuse New York, covering stories in some of the snowiest cities in the country.
During her free time and not report on the snow “or the cold!” She broke dozens of stories and landed exclusive interviews, such as one with prison escapee David Sweat’s mother, speaking with her just a few hours after her son was captured alive. Green as well as an AP-award-winning reporter for her stories on a fatal fire that killed two young children and the tragic murder of a 21-month-year-old.
