Grymes serves as the co-anchor of the weekend morning newscasts at CBS2. Since joining the station, she has enclosed President Donald Trump’s first foreign trip to Israel and Italy. In addition to that, she also enclosed Pope Francis’ trip to New York, the Mets 2015 playoff run, the capture of the Chelsea and Seaside Heights bombing suspect, reported live from the White House and the U.S. Capitol, and the deadly Amtrak derailment in Philadelphia.
Prior to joining CBS2, she worked at WNYW-TV in New York where she served as a reporter. During her tenure at WNYW-TV, she enclosed post-Superstorm Sandy rebuilding efforts, local security efforts after the Boston Marathon bombings, and Prince Harry’s visit to Harlem just to mention a few. She began her journalism career in 2006 at News 12 Networks where she served as a reporter for about 12 years. While at News 12 Networks, she enclosed quite a number of assignments including the Miracle on the Hudson, the Nixzmary Brown murder trials, Bernie Madoff’s sentencing, Pope Benedict’s trip to New York, and Superstorm Sandy.
Before joining News 12, she worked at Fox News Channel where she served as a production assistant and interned. She went to Southern Methodist University in Dallas where she graduated magna cum laude with a double major in journalism and political science.
