Arianna Bennett is an American Anchor working with KTV Channel 2 News where she serves the station as an evening anchor. Additionally, she is also the executive producer and host of Face the State, which is a weekend news program.

Arianna attended Reno High School. She fell in love with journalism while working on the school newspaper, The Red & Blue. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University, as well as a minor in English Literature.

Bennett works with KVTN-TV where she serves the station as an evening anchor anchoring the 4, 4:30, 7, and 11 PM news. She has worked with KVTN News since the year 2010. Arianna kick-started her journalism career working with KULR-TV in Billings where she was working as a reporter. However, she says she could not wait to get back to her hometown.
At KVTN-TV, she not only anchors the evening news but also contributes investigative reporting and special projects to the newscasts. Asides from this, she is also the executive producer and host of Face the State, which is an in-depth program that airs on weekends.
She is a proud recipient of a regional Edward R. Murrow Award, a second place nationally in the AP Awards for feature reporting, and an Emmy for her work on the “Best Local Newscast.” She has also been recognized by the Nevada Association of School Boards for “Excellence in Education Reporting.” Bennett also loves doing any story that has an impact especially those with passionate, interesting people. She says that she is thankful there are plenty of those in Northern Nevada.
For, good journalism is a fundamental part of functioning democracy. Arianna says it has the power to bring communities together and fix problems help others and keep each other safe. She is proud to be part of the fourth estate and loves to be able to do it in her hometown.
Asides from journalism, she loves tea(of all kinds), traveling to new places (and trying their food), binge-reading any novel she can get her hands on, and hiking with her dogs in the prettiest parts of Northern Nevada. She also harbors a healthy obsession with Lake Tahoe and thinks that living this close to it is just about as good as it gets. Bennet is an alumna of Kappa Alpha Theta and a proud member of the Secret Witness Board of Directors.
