Ayah Galal Biography
Ayah Galal is an American MMJ reporter and producer at WFSB Channel 3 Eyewitness News. She has been working at the station since joining in December 2018. Galal enjoys being out in the field reporting as an MMJ, in addition to working behind the scenes as a producer.

Galal graduated from Quinnipiac University, where she double-majored in journalism and political science. During her time at Quinnipiac, she was actively involved with Q30 Television, the student-run television station on campus. Galal again graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Alumni Association Academic Achievement Award for the highest scholastic achievement in her class. She interned at WTNH News 8 while in college and was hired there as a news producer upon graduation

After working as a producer at WTNH-News8 in New Haven upon graduation, Ayah began a new job at WFSB-Channel 3in Hartford last December as the station’s first reporter/producer. WFSB, virtual channel 3 (UHF digital channel 36), is a CBS-affiliated television station licensed to Connecticut, Hartford, United States, and serving the Hartford–New Haven television market.
The station is owned by the Meredith Corporation. WFSB’s studios are located on Capitol Boulevard in Rocky Hill and its transmitter is located on Talcott Mountain in Avon, Connecticut. The majority of WFSB’s programs are seen in Springfield, Massachusetts over a low-power semi-satellite station, WSHM-LD (channel 3.5).
That station is based at the facilities of sister station WGGB-TV (channel 40) in Springfield, although some master control and other internal operations are rubbed through WFSB.
