Bayne Froney is an American meteorologist working for FOX Weather as an on-air meteorologist since joining the station in June 2025. Previously, she worked for WLEX/LEX18 in Lexington, Kentucky, as a weekend morning forecaster for three years.

Froney attended Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in August 2016 after she completed her high school education. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism in May 2020.
While at Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, she was an intern at Nester CW6 and handled the internal affairs of the blast’d volunteer group. She also worked as a community editor for Downtown Devil.

Froney also delivered daily pitches, edits, interviews, and daily live shots in Bakersfield. She discovered her love for the weather while working there. Since she was a child, she had been fascinated with the weather and was a synchronized swimmer all through middle and high school.
