Bayne Froney is an American meteorologist working for WLEX/LEX18 as a weekend morning forecaster since joining the station in September 2022. Previously, she worked for KXXV 25 News in Waco, Texas as a reporter, weekend forecaster, and producer.

Froney attended Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in August 2016 after she completed her high school education. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism in May 2020.
While at Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, she was an intern at Nester CW6 and handled the internal affairs of the blast’d volunteer group. She also worked as a community editor for Downtown Devil. Froney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the school’s W. P. Carey School of Business.
