According to www.freep.com, Donna woke up in the middle of the night complaining of her heart racing before dying in the arms of Smilovitz some minutes later. Her funeral was held at The Ira Kaufman Chapel on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Smilovitz thanked the community for the love and support they showed during the difficult time.
