Beth Malicki is an American news anchor working with KCRG in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She serves as the news anchor and reporter for KCRG-TV9 anchoring 5, 6, and 10 p.m. newscasts, and is also the managing editor overseeing content and elevating the truth.

Malicki attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, from 1997 to 1999, when she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Malicki started her career at KOMU-TV as a news anchor where she spent six years anchoring weekday Emmy-award-winning evening newscasts and covering breaking news stories. She also provided live coverage overnight when Missouri’s governor died in a plane crash. Malicki also covered the flood of 2008 and the crashing of a commercial jet in a Jefferson City neighborhood. From June 2013 to November 2019, she was also the program leader for Kids on Course.
Since March 2005, she has been serving as a News Anchor, Reporter, and Managing Editor at KCRG-TV9. She anchors the 5 p.m. news alongside Nicole Agee and the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts alongside Jim Mertens. Malicki also created, produced, and moderated the weekly public affairs program, ”To the Point with Beth”. The show was a response to the many flood-related stories. She has also earned regional Emmy awards, Iowa Broadcast News Association awards, Northwest Broadcast News Association awards, and various community awards.
