After graduating, he joined the KCRG-TV9 Sports Team. Since joining the station, he has reported from the Field of Greams game, the NCAA Final Four, Drake Relays, and more. He gained experience in reporting, play-by-play, and writing. Lido has received recognition from the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America, the Chicago/Midwest National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the Society of Professional Journalists.
He has also covered the Big Ten Championship, the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Tournament, and the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament. Up to date, he has been to 7 out of 14 Big Ten football stadiums. He is a huge fan of the Giants, Yankees, Nets, and Islanders. Away from work, he enjoys food, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, pop culture, and U.S. history.
