Bisi Onile-Ere is an American Emmy Award-winning anchor and reporter working for FOX 9/KMSP-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She joined the station in December 2017.

Onile-Ere is an Emmy Award-winning anchor and reporter at FOX 9/KMSP-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She co-anchors FOX 9 News at 6:30 p.m. and FOX 9+ News at 7 p.m. alongside Tim Blotz. Prior to joining the FOX 9 News team, she worked for the national news network’s Detroit, Michigan bureau, Al Jazeera America in Detroit, Michigan. During her working time there, she servesd as a correspondent and fill-in anchor for two years and ten months from July 2013 to April 2016. In addition to her career stops, she worked for WDIV-TV, the NBC affiliate in Detroit. While there, she worked as a news reporter and fill-in anchor.
However, prior to that, she worked for the ABC affiliate in Flint, Michigan at WJRT-TV. She served the station as a news anchor and reporter for four years and ten months from October 2003 to July 2008. During her time working there, she co-anchored the station’s first 4 pm newscast and she was the lead reporter for the station’s 11p newscast. Her journalism career on-air job began in Duluth, Minnesota working for the CBS affiliate, KDLH-TV. While there, she served as a morning co-anchor and news reporter.
Throughout her career, she has covered quite a number of national breaking news stories. These stories include General Motors’ ignition switch recall, Detroit’s historic bankruptcy, Flint’s water crisis, and also the murder trial of former Minneapolis Police Officer Mohammad Noor. Onile-Ere is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
