Bob Gallaher is an American anchor and reporter working at WEAU where he serves as the 6 pm and 10 pm co-anchor on Hello Wisconsin and the 9 pm anchor on Fox 25-48 for Eau Claire/La Crosse. He joined the WEAU news team in September 1994.

Gallaher attended Benet Academy High School in Lisle, Illinois where he graduated proudly. Later on, he joined Marquette University in Milwaukee, where he graduated with a Broadcast Journalism degree in May 1990.

Gallaher works at WEAU where he serves as the 6 pm and 10 pm co-anchor on Hello Wisconsin and the 9 pm anchor on Fox 25-48 for Eau Claire/La Crosse. In February 1998, he took up the sports director position and held the position till July 2014, when he moved to the news anchor desk.

While he served as a sports director, he covered high school sports, post-season, MLB All-star games, Rose Bowls, Super Bowls, and NCAA Final Four. In addition, he worked at WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee where he served as a News Editor from 1990-1992 and from 1993-1994.

Furthermore, Gallaher also worked in Rhinelander, Wisconsin at WJFW-TV from September 1992 until May 1993, ad while he was at the station, he served as a news reporter. In 2009, he received an award from Wisconsin Broadcasters Association for Best Sportscast.

In 2018, he was recognized by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association for best election coverage. He was brought up in Clarendon Hills, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago and he is an avid Chicago sports fan including the Marquette Golden Eagles, the Cubs, and the Blackhawks. During his free time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
