Brandon Brooks is an American journalist, KYW News radio morning anchor. He first joined KYW News radio as a part-time anchor and reporter in 1989. Brooks came in 1993, anchoring afternoon drive, but also filling in on mornings, and anchoring weekday and weekend mornings on CBS-3, till his retirement in KYW.

After stays in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Wilmington, Delaware, he anchored an afternoon drive at Philadelphia’s WPEN in the 1970s before leaving to work as a news writer at WCAU-TV in the early 1980s. But the on-air bug had struck him, and he went on to work as a television anchor in Altoona, PA and Albany, NY before returning to Philadelphia permanently in the early 1990s. Brandon can be seen at home in Delaware County or flying in his little plane when he isn’t in the air.
