Brandon Libby Biography
Brandon Libby is an American meteorologist working for KWWL as a weekday morning meteorologist. He joined KWWL in June 2019, after previously working at KIMT-TV.
Woodland Hills, California is her birth home and later on, she was brought up in Southern California. While he was almost to the end of sixth grade, he relocated to Hugo, Minnesota and after he witnessed May 25, 2008, EF3 tornado, he knew he wanted to pursue meteorology. The same storm system also produced an EF5 tornado that happened in Parkersburg, Iowa. In addition, while he was at Iowa State University, he was active in the school’s weather television show known as Cy’s Eyes on the Skies.
While he was in his junior and senior years, he was chosen to serve as the show’s producer in addition to interning at KMSP–TV in the Twin Cities. He has also worked at KIMT-TV in Mason City, Lowa. Whenever he finds time, he enjoys skiing, cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones, spending time outdoors, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, and spending ample time.
