Brenda Rodriguez is an American journalist of Latina descent working for KTVB as an anchor and multi-skilled journalist since joining the station in August 2021. Previously, she worked for KIEM in Eureka, California as a morning news anchor, producer, and multimedia journalist.
Brenda Rodriguez Education
Rodriguez joined the University of Idaho in 2013 when she finished her high school education. In December 2017, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and Digital Media. As a sophomore in college, she served NPR’s Latino USA in New York City as a digital media intern. Next, she joined Inland Northwest Broadcasting in Northern Idaho as a news reporter, making her the first Latina to serve the station in that role.
