Brett Mayerson Biography

Brett Mayerson is an American multimedia journalist and host, known for having worked for the MLB Network as a freelance broadcast journalist. He joined the MLB Network in June 2022 and departed in September 2022. Before that, she worked at KTIV-TV where he was a multimedia journalist. Mayerson worked for SNY as a Freelance Production Assistant from October 2022 to February 2023. She has been serving Massachusetts Pirates, LLC. full-time as a Director of Marketing since February 2023.

In 2012, Mayerson joined Scotch Plains Fanwood High School where he graduated in 2016. Later on, he joined Ithaca College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Radio and Television in 2020. Mayerson had always been fascinated by the world of radio and television. His journey to KTIV began when he enrolled in the media program at his high school.

Brett knew then that he wanted to pursue a career in broadcasting. Brett had his own radio and television show while at Ithaca, and he spent a semester studying in Los Angeles to further his knowledge of the industry. In addition,  he interned in the news and sports departments at FOX5 New York, and then at WETM 18 News in Elmira, New York, where he assisted in the newsroom. From July 2020 to October 2020, Mayerson worked for New Jersey Jackals in Little Falls, N.J. as a “part-time” Thursday night Public Address Announcer and On-Field Host.
