Brittany Bell is an American meteorologist working for ABC7NY. She has been working for the station since joining in July 2021. She previously worked at ABC 11 where she also served as a meteorologist from March 2017 to May 2021. 

Brittany Bell Career

Bell serves as the meteorologist at ABC7NY. She previously worked for ABC 11 in Raleigh, North Carolina where she served as a filled-in on Good Morning America and World News Tonight. Prior to that, she worked for WAPT-TV where she served as the weekday morning meteorologist from August 2013 to March 2017. While there, she was in charge of forecasting for the Sanderson Farms PGA championship.

Prior to that, she worked for KHBS/KHOG where she served as a meteorologist from April 2012 to August 2013. She started her forecasting career at WMC-TV where she served as a freelance meteorologist from December 2011 to April 2012.

Bell has also managed to win several awards including the prestigious Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal from the American Meteorological Society. She went to Mississippi State University where she attained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Meteorology. During her time in college, she was selected to participate in the school’s Great Plains storm chase.

Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also enjoys several outdoor activities including trying out local restaurants, going to the beach and so much more.
