Brittney Verner is an American Anchor working for WDSU News in New Orleans serving as a morning anchor. She joined the station in 2023, after working for WMAR 2 News as a general assignment anchor and reporter.

Verner works as a morning news anchor for the WDSU News in New Orleans, Louisana. Before joining WDSU News, she was a general assignment anchor and reporter at WMAR 2 News in Baltimore Maryland. Earlier, Brittney worked for the Cox Media Group in Jacksonville where she served as a general assignment reporter. She also covered significant news such as economic and budget issues, and Hurricane Dorian. On top of this, she also reported high-profile trials including the release of Adnan Syed and the murder of Timothy Reynolds.
Brittney previously worked as a reporter and multi-skilled journalist at KSDK-TV in St. Louis from January 2018 to January 2019. While there, she was in charge of conducting interviews and promoting STEM literacy for students in grades K-3. Prior to working at KSDK-TV, Verner worked for KXXV-TV as a reporter and multimedia journalist from March 2016 to February 2018. Before that, she served as a news reporter at Orion Neighborhood Television in Lake Orion, MI. She also hosted and produced a weekly talk show on ONTV.
Earlier, Verner worked for WJBK Fox 2 in Southfield, Michigan serving as an intern from January 2015 to May 2015. As an intern, she was responsible for managing the online community, editing reels, and shadowing reporters. Brittney started her career at WXOU Radio working as a radio host from January 2012 to April 2015. While still working as a radio host, she also served as a broadcast journalist at VAIN, LLC in San Francisco.
Aside from working as a journalist, Verner served on a marketing team at Flywheel Software in San Francisco. During her period there, she established numerous new marketing strategies and cooperated with the engineering team. Before that, Brittney worked for the Pink Pump as an assistant manager from August 2009 to July 2011. Besides this, she also worked as a public relations Intern at Children’s Hospital of Michigan from June 2007 to August 2007. In addition to this, Brittney is also an active member of non-profit organizations.
