Candyce Clifft is an American journalist working for WDRB News as a morning anchor since she was promoted in 2003. She joined the station as a reporter on March 31, 1997.

Clifft is a proud graduate of Tennessee Technological University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in English in May 1995. There, she was involved with the Alpha Delta Pi, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Phi Kappa Phi. She also has a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri. There, she was involved with KBIA-FM, KMOX-AM, and KOMU-TV.

Clifft started pretending to be a newscaster when she was in elementary school, so her childhood friends can attest to her decades of experience in journalism. Besides her broadcasting work, she teaches writing, storytelling, public speaking, and media law and ethics as an adjunct professor in the Strategic Communications Department of Boyce College.
