Hannah Strong Biography
Hannah Strong is an American Meteorologist working with WRDB News where she serves the station as a Weekend Evening Meteorologist for the News at 10 PM. He has been working for the station in Louisville, Kentucky since October 2017.
Hannah Strong Education
Strong is a proud graduate of Mississippi State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology in the year 2015 after studying at the University since 2011. She has received the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist accreditation as well as the National Weather Association’s Seal of Approval for her ability to clearly communicate the forecast.

Strong works with WRDB News where she serves the station as an Evening Meteorologist for the 10 PM Newscasts. Prior to this, she was working with WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she was serving the station as a Meteorologist and joined the station in May 2015.
She grew up in Alabama, where she was exposed to a lot of strong thunderstorms, which sparked her interest in studying severe weather. Strong has also previously worked with Campus Connect at Mississippi State University where she was serving the station as a Forecaster between August 2013 and May 2015.
Prior to this, she was working with the Student Worker-Transportation Services at Mississippi State University where she worked between August 2011 and May 2015. Previously, he has also worked at FOX6 WBRC in Birmingham, Alabama Area where he was serving as a Weather Intern between May 2014 and August 2014.
She is also a member of the NWA Board of Directors, the NWA Social Media Committee, and the AMS Broadcast Board of Directors. Strong has presented research at the National Weather Association Annual Meeting, and she regularly advises college students who want to work in broadcast meteorology. She is a proud member of the National Weather Association’s Social Media Committee and Board of Directors, as well as the American Meteorological Society’s Station Scientist and Broadcast Board Committee.
