Carolina Cruz Biography
Carolina Cruz is a Colombian-American journalist working for WFSB as a Correspondent prior to joining CBS-affiliated television she was working as a reporter at KRGV-TV.
She has been working at the Channel 3 Eyewitness News team since joining the station in November. While she was attending Rockhurst University Kansas City, Mo, She interned at KMBC, KSDK, and KUKC.

Prior to relocating to New England, she spent two years along the U.S.- Mexico border in Texas. She covered national headline stories including immigration influx, border security, and cartel violence in Mexico.
Local community reporting was as well top of mind as she delved into topics related to outdated drainage and infrastructure issues in one of the poorest counties in the country. She earned an Emmy- Lone Star Chapter Honorable Mention for an investigative story she uncovered on her second day on the job at KRGV.
