Cassie Munoz is an American sports anchor and reporter who is best known for her time at KSAN where she serves as the weekend sports anchor and reporter. Se joined the KSAN team in January 2020 and later in March 2022, she left the station.

In 2016, Muñoz graduated from South Plains college. Later on, she joined Tarrant County College where she earned an associate of arts in associates in 2018. She has also studied at the UT Arlington College of Liberal Arts where she studied broadcast journalism and graduated in 2020. In addition, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Broadcast from the University of Texas at Arlington.

She is also a beneficiary if the Mark Holtz Sports Broadcast scholarship. While she was at the University, she covered student-produced newscasts, and stories around campus for UTA NEWS. In addition, she worked for the Athletic Department where she served as a video production assistant and while she was there, she covered each and every sport UTA competed in.

In addition, she enjoys covering a wide range of sports, however, baseball has always been her favorite. V was also able to cover the Cotton Bowl in 2019. Furthermore, she spent three seasons with the Texas Rangers’ promotional team, The Six Shooters. During her leisure time, she enjoys participating in sports and spending ample time with her family and friends.
