Cat Viglienzoni is an American journalist working for WCAX as an afternoon and evening news anchor and reporter. She joined the station in July 2011 as the weekday morning news producer after graduating from college.

Viglienzoni hopped on the chance to create a show from scratch when the station declared that it was debuting a new weekend morning news broadcast in the summer of 2013. In September 2013, “The Weekend” show was launched, and she began working as the show’s reporter and producer. She split her time between hard news and features in the “At Issue” and “Destination Recreation” segments and hosted her weekly “Sunday Science” series.
Viglienzoni began working as a full-time reporter for the evening news in 2016. In this capacity, she concentrated on broadcasting the news of the day while maintaining her interest in science news. In spring 2017, she was promoted to evening news executive producer. She returned to her first love, reporting, in spring 2018.
Viglienzoni transitioned to anchor and reporter of the newly created 4:00 afternoon broadcast in September 2020. In fall 2021, she received another promotion on the evening news desk, joining longtime colleague and friend Darren Perron.
