Chris Marchand is an American anchor/reporter working at WMBB News 13 where he serves as the morning and midday co-anchor. He joined the WMBB/ News 13 team in 2007 as a reporter.
Columbia, Maryland is his native home and he attended Oakland Mills High School where he graduated in 1984. After his family relocated to Stuttgart, Germany, he attended the University of Maryland Munich Campus in for n year. Later in 1987, he joined the United States Air Force and while he was there, he served for four years at Tyndall AFB.
In addition, he has also studied at FSU Panama City and Gulf Coast State College. He joined the WMBB News Team as a reporter in 2007 and at the end of the year 2008, he was promoted to serving as a Sports Director. In 2016, Marchand joined the News 13 Morning crew as an anchor. During his leisure time, he enjoys golfing, spending ample time with his wife April, and his two daughters and two stepsons.
