Neyenhouse joined the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 2003 when he finished his high school education. In 2007, he graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Speech Communications. During college, he worked as the play-by-play broadcaster for the school’s women’s and men’s hockey teams at SUNY Plattsburgh.

Neyenhouse works for KSPR as an anchor for the Ozarks Sports Zone. Two months before starting his career at KY3, he sustained an ACL tear in a collision near first base. He looks forward to getting back in playing shape while doing the thing he loves, covering local sports.

During his career, he has broadcasted several Broncos and Vikings training camps and playoff games including Tim Tebow’s rookie season and the Vikings’ last-second loss to the Seahawks through a missed field goal in 2016.

Neyenhouse previously worked as a writer and editor for the Good Day Tampa Bay show at WTVT Fox 13 for 4 years. There, he worked during several title runs by the Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and a World Series appearance by the Tampa Bay Rays.

Neyenhouse has also broken several national stories including when he learned Pedro Martinez was about to sign with the Philadelphia Phillies after they met during his sister’s wedding in 2009. In 2018, he broke the story of running back Fred Jackson’s planned retirement with his original team, the Buffalo Bills.

Neyenhouse knew that he wanted to be a sports anchor when he was a young child and became the official PA announcer at his high school’s basketball games. His broadcasting career began when he worked at KHGI in Kearney, Nebraska as a morning assistant producer and reporter.

Following his time in Kearney, Neyenhouse relocated to Rapid City, South Dakota where he worked as a weekend sports anchor at KOTA Territory news. There, he broadcasted the 2010 Rapid City Rush’s CHL championship. He then worked in Sioux City, Iowa as a sports director at KMEG.

While in Sioux City, Neyenhouse broadcasted the 2016 University of South Dakota Women’s NIT title and the record-setting season of the Sioux City Explorers baseball team. He also broadcasted the start of Nashville Predators’ first-round draft pick Eeli Tolvanen while he played for the Sioux City Musketeers. In Tampa, Neyenhouse grew a love for adult co-ed kickball.
