Chris Riva is an American award-winning former anchor and reporter known for having worked for FOX19 as a news anchor. Riva worked for FOX 19 NOW from December 2019 to March 2023. He has been working as a Vice President of Communications at The Connor Group since leaving FOX 19.

He previously worked for Sorg Opera Revitalization Group where he served as a Board Member from August 2018 to July 2022. Prior to that, he was working for WCPO-TV where he served as a Morning anchor from April 2014 to March 2018.
Before that, he spent about 3 years and 1 month working at KWGN where he served as a sports director from March 2001 to March 2004. Prior to that, he worked at WKEF-TV where he served as a sports anchor and reporter from June 1997 to June 1999 in Dayton, Ohio. He started his journalism career at WING RADIO/Z-93/WAZU RADIO where he served as a sports radio producer from February 1991 to April 1994 in Dayton, Ohio.
Ever since he started his career, he enclosed a number of Super Bowls, World Series, NBA Finals, College National Championships, and various Olympic events. He has also received Associated Press, Emmy, and regional Edward R. Murrow awards for his work. Chris worked in two National Edward R. Murrow award-winning newsrooms. Chris is a member of the Middletown Sorg Opera Revitalization Group’s board of directors. The non-profit organization is spearheading an effort to restore Middletown’s historic Sorg Theater.
