Christina Talamo is an American meteorologist working for WNYT-TV serving as a morning meteorologist. She joined the station in January 2020.

Talamo attended the University at Albany where she graduated summa cum laude from the Honors College in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Science and minors in Broadcast Meteorology and Mathematics.

Talamo delivers the weather to the Capital Region on-air Wednesday through Sunday. During the week, she works alongside Neal Estano and does the weather solo during the weekends. Due to her skills, she has managed the First Warning Experience webpage with meteorologist Reid Kisselback, where they deliver an inside scoop of how the weather works.
In the summer of 2019, she interned at WNBC News 4 New York in New York City while still in college. She also spent some time interning at the Global Weather, the National Weather Service in Albany, and the New York State Mesonet. She was also a very dedicated member of the local chapter of the American Meteorological Society, where she served as a secretary senior year. Talamo was also an active participant in the UAlbany forecast contests. She nonetheless served on the Eboard of the UAlbany Women’s Club Soccer Team and was a member of the UAlbany Women’s Club Lacrosse Team.
Talamo enjoys playing soccer, running, and Lacrosse whenever she is not at work. She also finds pleasure in going to the beach, spending some time outside, and watching movies. Playing the flute, singing as well as piano, and guitar is also what she enjoys the most. She is also very active on her social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. For her being able to work as a meteorologist saving lives is nothing but a dream come true for she had always wanted to be one for a long time.
