Christine Devine is an American Anchor/Reporter working for FOX 11 Los Angeles in California where she serves the station as an Evening News Anchor. She has been working with the station since the year 1990.

Devine attended Tolleson Union High School in Tolleson, Arizona. There, she studied between 1979 and 1983. While there, she was a Valedictorian and was voted “Most Likely to Succeed.” She then went on to join Arizona State University where she studied between 1983 and 1987. There, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. Devine is in the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism’s Hall of Fame and also received ASU’s Founders Day Alumni Achievement Award. She also attended the Leadership Scholarship and is on the Alumni Association board. The year 2021 saw her receive an honorary doctorate at Cal State LA Commencement.

Devine works with FOX 11 Los Angeles, serving the station as an Evening Anchor for the 5 and 10 PM Weeknight News. She is privileged to have won 16 Emmys in the course of her career and has received the highest of LA news honors. This includes the Governor’s Award from the Television Academy, the Presidential Award for Impact on Media from LA Press Club in 2022, and the Golden Mic for Lifetime Achievement from the Radio & Television News Association (RTNA).

She has worked with Wednesday’s Child segment on FOX 11 News for nearly 30 years. This includes working with more than 500 children in foster care and finding adoptive families. The year 2012 saw her being named in Los Angeles Magazine among the “50 Women Changing LA” for her work with foster care. Asides from this, she has received an honorary doctorate degree from Cal State LA in the school of social work.

Devine was honored in Washington DC as a COngressional “Angel in Adoption” and by the Child Welfare League of America. She is a proud graduate of Arizona State University(Sun Devil). Asides from this, she is also in ASU’s Hall of Fame at the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism where she has funded a scholarship. This is in addition to being a member of the high-level Board of Trustees and the ASU Leadership Council- Los Angeles.

While working in Hollywood, she played reporter roles in movies such as Guy,  and Wag The Dog. She has also previously appeared in series like American Horror Story and 90210. Devine has a love for design and is a regular at LA Fashion Week. Some of her new honors include Two Gracie Awards from AWRT-American Women in Radio and Lifetime Achievement from Century City Chamber of Commerce. Asides from this, she is a frequent emcee and has been honored before the LA City Council.LAPD, LA County Sheriff’s Department, and LA County Board of Supervisors.
