Clay LePard is an American Emmy Award-winning Journalist working as a News Reporter at WEWS-TV in Cleveland, Ohio. He joined the station in January 2021 after working for WKMG News 6.

LePard is a reporter for WEWS-TV in Cleveland Ohio where he reports local news. His beat focuses on Geauga and Lake counties, and he reports on various issues such as criminal activities, schools, communities’ activities, and special stories of the people in these communities. His passion made him participate in an internship with ABC News Nightline and the 2010 NBC Vancouver Winter Olympics hence making him have real-life experience in the field. Before arriving at WEWS-TV in January 2021, LePard was a Reporter at WKMG News in Orlando, Florida from July 2017 until January 2021. He also received two Suncoast Emmy Awards and the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists Award. WKMG News was not Clay’s first media house employer; he was also employed by WNEP-TV 16 in Scranton, Pennsylvania from October 2014 to June 2017 as a reporter. At WNEP-TV he vied for the Mid-Atlantic Emmy twice.
Further, at WHBF-TV, LePard worked as a morning anchor and producer, a General Assignment One-Man-Band Reporter, a Weekday Morning anchor, the host of the Weekly Series “Rock Island Arsenal: Inside the Gates”, Fill-In Weekend Sports Anchor, and a Fill-In Morning Anchor. Besides this, he was also occupied in several capacities in CitrusTV. However, he was the CNN News Anchor and CNN Managing Editor, the CNN Sports Anchor for ON THE BENCH, the Director of SA Today and Citrus TV News, and the host of Cuse Countdown.
