Conor McCue is an American Reporter/Anchor/MMJ working for CBS 4 News/KCNC-TV in Denver, Colorado where he serves the station as a Reporter/Multimedia Journalist. He has been working with the station since July 2019.

McCue works with KCNC-TV/CBS4 news serving the station as an MMJ and Reporter. He states that he is very happy to be covering Colorado First. He further explains that this incredible state is where he was raised and there is no place he would rather be. Conor has been honored to be able to share stories of his fellow Coloradans and report on the issues important to the communities he cares about so much.
Prior to joining CBS News Colorado, he was working in Kentucky and South Carolina. There, he was reporting on a wide range of topics which include breaking news, state politics, community issues, and severe weather. Asides from this, she also interned at CBS News Colorado when she was in college. It was while in Denver that he learned his love and passion for journalism.
McCue attended Rock Canyon High School and is a proud graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, CU. He states that he will find any possible excuse in order to go back to Boulder and explore. When he is not working, he would likely be found at the hockey rink, brewery, or sporting center. Asides from this, he loves hiking, exploring the many wonderful outdoor opportunities Colorado has to offer, and golfing.
He states that the reason he is a journalist is to get to learn something new every day and enjoys telling people’s stories. Asides from this, he states that this is his dream job. On the other hand, he states that the job he would never attempt is being an accountant.
Conor states that his first television appearance was while interviewing for a story on CBS News Colorado when he was a college student. His first story on the hand was the reopening of the Boys and Girls Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Among his most memorable story was going into a bear den in Eastern Kentucky to see how newborn cubs are tagged and tracked. McCue states that the music he finds himself listening to lately are Tyler Childers.
Away from work, he enjoys being outdoors, visiting breweries, reading, and playing hockey. His favorite sports team happens to be Montreal Canadiens(his French-Canadian grandmother could not give her a second chance, and Colorado Rockies.
On the other hand, his favorite authors happen to be Wright Thompson, Hunter S. Thompson, and Malcolm Gladwell. His favorite vacation spot happens to be Thailand. McCue states that one word that best describes CBS News Colorado is passionate. He states that his favorite word is Cattywampus and the reason he stays in Colorado is that it is his hometown.
