Corinne Rose is an American reporter working at WPTA where she serves as a weekday and weekend reporter. She joined the WPTA team in 1995, as a reporter, and while working at the station, she has also served as a noon anchor and producer.
She joined Miami University, Luxembourg where she studied International Study and European Educational Program. Later on, she graduated with a double major in English and Political Science. From early 2003 to early 2013, she served as the host of the noon newscast, and for consecutive years, she produced the Noon Extra show. Rose covered the police and crime beats on a regular basis, in addition to her reports including everything from human interest tales to homicides. Her reports are centered on in-depth digging into the subjects and properly preserving her sources.
Corinne’s native home is in the Chicago neighborhood of Northbrook, Illinois. Furthermore, Corinne did perform in a Luxembourgish choir where she was the only one who could speak English. Another one of her highlights abroad was watching Italy being beaten by the USA hockey team at the Winter Olympics in Albertville, France together with her friends. During her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, singing with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Chorus, reading, and working out.
