Damien Alameda Biography

Damien Alameda is an American Anchor/Director working with KOLD News 13/KMSB Fox 11 where he serves the station as a Weekend Anchor/Sports Director. He has worked with the station since the month of July 2006.

Alameda attended Oak Park High School where he studied between the years 1994 and 1998. He then went on to join Santa Clara University where he studied between 1998 and 2002. There, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and Video Production.

Alameda works with KOLD News 13 News where he serves the station as a Sports Director. After 14 years of covering southern Arizona Sports, he pivoted to news in the spring of 2020. The Emmy and Associated Press award-winning journalist continues to engage and entertain his audience as he splits time anchoring both and informing.

The California native now considers himself an Arizonan with roots and relationships that run deep throughout the community. He also thanks viewers for welcoming him with open arms and looks forward to his role as a reliable dependable voice of news and sports for years to come.

Prior to joining the KOLD 13 News team, he was working for KDBC 4 where he was serving the station as a Weekend Sports Anchor. He worked with KDBC 4 between the months of February 2004 and July 2005. Previously, she also worked for KICU, Action 36 Cable 6 between October 2001 and February 2004. He serves the station as a Reporter/Videographer.
