Dan Reynolds Biography
Dan Reynolds is an American meteorologist working for WTWO as the meteorologist on Wednesday’s Technology Matters on Live at 5. He joined the WTWO team in May 1993.
In November 2000, Dan worked from home while broadcasting his weekend weather reports using his home computer. After he had graduated from college, Dan took a reporter’s job to get into broadcasting and within a short time he moved to the morning news anchor, later on, he became the interim News Director. Not long after, he accepted the opportunity to shift to weather. In addition, he is a member of the National Weather Association and holds the group’s prestigious Television Seal of Approval.
Furthermore, he has a strong working relationship with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis. Dan shares his experience, skills, and knowledge of computer model forecasting, and satellite and radar meteorology with the WTWO. For Reynolds’ 25 years of service in recording weather data to The National Weather Service, Atmospheric Association, National Oceanic, and The Department of Commerce, he received an award.
