Dana Winklepleck is an American anchor/reporter working at WTWO where she serves as a weekday night anchor at 6 pm and on WAWV she anchors the 5 pm newscast.
She interned at WTWO as a senior at Indiana University and never left. Dana began her career as a weekend “behind the scenes” person and has since held nearly every position in the newsroom. Dana has covered many of the major news stories in the Wabash Valley over the years.
Her coverage of a six-week murder trial earned WTWO an Associated Press award. Dana enjoys reading and traveling in her spare time. She spent a year as an exchange student in the Philippines, studied economics in Europe for a semester, and traveled throughout Japan, Mexico, and Honduras, as well as many cities in the United States.
