DeSherion McBroom Biography
DeSherion McBroom is an American reporter and multimedia journalist working for WEHT-WTVW as a news and sports reporter. He joined WTVW in January 2022, after previously working at WTWO where he was a multimedia journalist.
In 2011, he joined Northern Kentucky University where he graduated in 2016, with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism. Later in 2018, he joined Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis where he earned a master’s degree in sports capital journalism in 2020.
McBroom works at WTVW as a news and sports reporter. He was a member of the track and field team at NKU. He went on to be the varsity head coach for the boy’s track and field team at Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, after graduation. DeSherion interned with the athletics department and the WISH-TV sports team while at IUPUI. During his spare time, he enjoys running, hanging out with friends, and going on vacation when he is not at work.
