Prior to joining FOX 2, he worked at KVEO – NBC 23 and CBS 4 from September 2018 to September 2021 as a sports anchor and reporter. He was then a videographer and editor at Akros.Tv from March 2018 to June 2018. There, he served and assisted in day-to-day operations during an extreme sports film shoot with pro mountain bike rider Amy Morrison.
Most primarily, he worked with a Lumix GH5 but also gained experience in shooting with a RED cinema-grade camera. Also, he worked as a reporter + anchor at KOMU-TV from August 2016 to May 2018. at KOMU-TV, as a sports/news reporter, he filmed sports/news events and cut/edited the footage for KOMU 8 Sports/News broadcasts. As an anchor, he was responsible for producing morning sports and anchor and anchoring a sports segment of the KOMU 8 News morning show. He produced a 30-minute Sports Extra with Chris Gervino special for KOMU 8 Sports on Sunday Evenings for 16 weeks.
Prior to working at KOMU-TV, he worked at The University of Missouri Office of Visitor Relations as a tour team guide from February 2016 to May 2018. There, he was responsible for giving a wide variety of campus tours. This included but was not limited to admissions tours, field trip tours, and transfer tours. Daniel started his career at T Bar M Campus. He first joined the station in June 2014 working for one month as a Camp Travis Work Crew.
