Daniel Graves Biography
Daniel Graves is an American Meteorologist for WDSU in New Orleans since joining the station in August 2016. He is the Weekend Evening Meteorologist and you can catch him Saturday at 5,6,10 pm. Sunday at 5 & 10 p.m.
Graves attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe where he received his bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Science.
He interned with Chief Meteorologist Margaret Orr for two years, prior to getting his first job as Weekend Meteorologist for KLTV in Tyler, Texas. He is thrilled to bring his weather forecasting skills back home to his family and friends.
Graves’ passion for weather was developed at an early age. He recalls ver well the devastation caused by Hurricane Andrew and helped influence his career path towards weather. He looks forward to providing information to keep people secure.
When he is not working, Graves enjoys running, hiking, fishing, and cheering on the Saints and Tigers! He is an avid tennis player and fan.
