Daniel Marin is an American Emmy Award-winning Anchor working with KXAN News where he serves the station as an Evening Anchor since September 2021. Prior to this, he was working with KTSM-TV where he was serving the station as an Evening Anchor since 2014.

Marin world with KXAN News and the CW Austin station working where he serves station as an evening anchor for the 5, 6, 9, and 10 PM. He is a proud native of El Paso where he worked in the news industry for more than 15 years. Asides from this, he also covered topics ranging from local politics and corruption to border issues and the drug war in Mexico.

Previously, he also anchored hours of continuous coverage of the tragic 2019 El Paso mass shooting. Asides from this, his reporting has also been featured on CNN, MSNBC, and NewsNation. Marin attended Hanks High School. He is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he obtained a degree in communication and minors in government and political science. Among his first tastes in politics came when he was a UT student and serving as an intern in the Texas Senate.
