Leon serves as a reporter at KSHB prior to her tenure at FOX21, she previously worked for WIBW-TV where she served as a News anchor as well as a reporter from October 2015 to October 2017. While there, he served as an anchor, edited stories, and reporter for the #1 news station in Topeka, Kansas.
Prior to this WIBW-TV, she previously worked for K-State HDTV in Manhattan, Kansas where she served as an audio producer from August 2014 to May 2016. She also interned at KMBC 9 News in Kansas City, Missouri Area from May 2015 to August 2015. She also worked for Gardner EDGE where she served as a correspondent from June 2014 to August.
Leon went to Kansas State University in 2012 where she attained her Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia in 2016. Ever since she started her journalism career, she was recognized by the Kansas Press Club and won a Colorado Broadcasters Award for contributions to her station’s Hispanic Heritage Show. Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family as well as her friends. She also enjoys trying out new Mexican restaurants and recipes.
