Ryan Johnson is an American Meteorologist best known for his time working with KQDS-DT/FOX21 News where he serves the station as a Weekend Meteorologist. He worked with the station in Duluth, Minnesota Area between August 2018 and August 2021. He now works for Patron Companies/Patron Transportation serving the team as a Medical Services Driver.

Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from St. Cloud State University. During his time at SCSU, he was an active member of the student TV station, UTVS, where he provided weather updates as part of their newscasts. Prior to this, he was working with WCCO-TV in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area. There, he was serving the station as an Intern between May 2008 and August 2008. While there, he was assisting in preparing forecasts to be presented by supervising broadcast meteorologists.

Asides from this, he also participated in informal forecast discussions with the broadcaster. He also assisted in receiving and reviewing severe weather information to determine new live cut-ins for broadcasters to create. Asides from this, he was assisting in building graphics for the on-air weather segment.
